I love the realistic elements you've used in this against the cartoon-like style. It's cleverly done, and the shapes are so precise. The details and intricate patterns make me think of a dreamscape or a children's book, as though the headdress was a visual representation of the character's imagination. The earrings and headdress looks regal to me. The eyes and lips are very soft and expressive; it's very beautifully done. The character looks fragile and innocent. It really gives a sense of mystery and wonder <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" /> Using monotone is really effective here; the atmosphere isn't overstated or lost under unecessary colours. This really struck a chord with me. It's a wonderful piece.
